Forgive my long absence here, Cachinnatees. I spent much of last week at a conference in Ft. Worth for work and community. It was good. Nothing more to report.

This past weekend I met with the mayor discussing the future of the Arts in Waco.

But that wasn't the most significant thing that happened that day. Unfortunately, I had to miss a long anticipated trip to the Renaissance Festival. There's just no more cathartic schadenfreude than that. Fortunately, Don Boscoe went. On the left is a sample of his photojounalistic work done in my stead. I wish I had been there to witness the horrors for myself. You can see the rest of his work here.

Also today I received a $10,000 check for my theatre and was notified of a $29,990 award to come in a few weeks.

So I've been busy. More soon.
