Okay, Beeki and I are headed to Nashville tomorrow to check things out. If you're up there, we'd love to find a way to run into you.
But in any case, what do we need to be sure not to miss while there? And do any of you have leads on a job for someone like me?
I know... details...

Well, the Symphony is playing this weekend - rush tickets $15. And there's a concert Saturday night with a couple artists from the "Ten out of Tenn" tour, Erin McCarley and Andy Davis at 3rd and Lyndsley.
And I might have a job lead for you. We'll talk this weekend.

The Opryland Hotel is a pretty cool thing to see no matter what the people say.

Don - Do you mean Dollywood? That's not in Nashville, that's over in Pigeon Forge. It's a few hours east of here.

You know... I know that Dollywood is in Pigeon Forge, but I still actually put "And don't even bother mentioning Dollywood" in the blog post, but decided to take it down because... surely no one would actually suggest it... But that's what I get for underestimating Boscoe.

Sorry for the Typo...yes I did mean Dollywood. I did know that it was a couple hours away, but from all I hear it is in no way worth the drive.
Which is why You of all people should go!

Don't miss the full scale papier-mâché Parthenon replica.

If the weather is nice, you should go to Centennial Park or the Nashville Zoo. The zoo isn't the best I've ever been to, but it's got a wide variety of animals.
You should also go to the Nashville Public Library on Saturday. They have wonderful puppet shows in the Kids Zone, and Anansi the Spider is currently playing [linkage: http://www.library.nashville.org/kids/kid_show.asp]. They did Hamlet two years ago, and it was terrific. I think the show is free.
Next Christmas, you definitely need to go to the Opryland Hotel.
