So what's the worst way to make a first impression on your prospective Mother-in-law? Apparently, most of you think it's walking in on her in the bathroom. I voted for call your fiance/e by the wrong name. Oooooh, if some punk did that to my daughter in front of me and Beeki, I'd drop kick him to China. Now, to be sure, none of those scenarios are good ones. But what do you think is the worst? Anyone have any good stories about meeting the in-laws for the first time?
For me, meeting the Mother-in-law actually went really well. I have lovely in-laws and we get along great. If I did anything horrible or awkward, I still don't know about it! Sorry for the lack of a good story, but it's nice to have familial harmony. That's why I come to you with this, Cachinnatees. Surely some of you have good stories!
New poll coming right up!

Good to know, in 21-25 years when you're not yet born daughter is old enough to date, i'll make sure to call her by the right name when i come visit!!

Getting maxed out on your credit card would scare me most. The rest could be laughed off and kind of forgotten. Maxing out the credit card would send shivers down my spine were it my daughter/

I was recently at a wedding rehearsal dinner (the bride and groom shall remain nameless, though some of you may be able to figure it out) at which the father of the groom called his own son by the wrong name during the toast. The name he used? Elizabeth. I am not making this up. "Here's to Elizabeth and [bride]." Awkward.
