Cachinnatees, I once again turn to you for input and advice. As I'm sure you've noticed, I am not in the habit of bringing trivial matters to your attention. It's all matters of life and death here.
So this time, here's the topic: My father, The Colonel, is considering opening a Middle-Eastern style sandwich shop in Downtown Wacko. He'll serve hummus, falafel, pita, gibne, and more. We're trying to come up with the name for the place. The contenders are:
The Nazareth Sandwich Shop
and
Colonel Baker's Pita Palace
Vote now!

Since this is Jerusalem on the Brazos, I think it's only appropriate to go with #1.

How about "Colonel Baker's Nazareth Pita Palace and Sandwich Shop". You could always just wrap the sign around the building.

I like Colonel Baker's Pita Palace. It has a nice ring to it. It also gives new meaning when you go to visit "The Colonel" (vs. KFC).
OR
You could just call it Colonel Baker's. Short and sweet.

I don't care what he calls it, but if serves donor kebab / shoarma, I'll be there every day!!
Is he planning to compete with D's Delights? They've got pretty good gyros and kebabs (although my hubby makes better tzaziki than they do)... he should check it out for research!
Man, now I'm hungry!

I vote for Colonel Baker's Pita Palace, just in case he ever wants to be closed on Sunday. =)

I like just Colonel Bakers'
Shorter and easier to say, and very catchy.

You might want to vote on whether or not it should be "Place" or "Palace".

P.S. 85 percent of my diet is hummus.
