Et tu, Global Warming?

Posted by Anonymous On 9:25 PM

Cachinnatees, this is still not my post about global warming. That's because it's snowing. In Waco. In April.

... Now, don't read this as a refutation of global warming... but it's not great supporting evidence either.

Enough of that semi-serious stuff. It's SNOWING! On with the fun!

Updates to follow...

What else are you going to do when you unexpectedly get snow on a Saturday? Make a snowman!

Things start well enough for Beeki and the snowman. Bert and Ernie get their first experience with snow:

Then comes the snowman carnage and possibly a visit from outer space:

Naturally, the Baker snowman needs a SnowBert:

And, of course, SnowErnie follows:

SnowBert is... well... special:

Then it's time for Beeki, Bert, and Ernie to romp playfully in the snow. Bert does not cooperate:

That's all for the Waco snowstorm. Last week it was a tornado. I'm thinking we're due for a plague of locusts next...

    Happy Easter, Cach!

How fun to have a spring snow in Texas. Weirder things have happened. I just can't think of them right now.

How fun!! My kids would've loved snow, but all we got was the cold. :( Happy Easter!

  5. Anonymous Said,

Pff...plague of locust. Not. Obviously, if WEATHER is the culprit (i.e. tornadoes and snow) then the next up should be bowling ball sized hail.

Looks like alot of fun. Beeki, you are a patient woman to put up with that much harassment. =)

Hope you guys had a great Easter!!

  7. Hey, that was funny!

That really is bizarre weather for April in Texas. Wonder if it will damage the normal burst of spring wildflowers at all.

  8. Anonymous Said,

The bluebonnets are already in full bloom, and it's supposed to be 80 degrees tomorrow, so hopefully the damage will be minimal. I'm still crossing my fingers over my lawn and our trees.
