Cachinnatees, by now you all know of my love for my good friend Forky. He's one of the best friends I've ever had in my life and he's a helluva good guy. He's also among the most talented performers with whom I've had the pleasure of working. I have never known a more creative and inventive performer.
What many of you may not know, but may have surmised from reading his blog, is that one of his greatest talents is that of a writer. I think he's got a tremendously bright future there. He has started a new blog that is well worth reading. It's called the Theology Arcade. In it he examines the theological narratives and themes of video games and how they, as an enormously popular form of entertainment in America today, fit into the Christian life and society. If it sounds odd at first, consider it for a second: we have no pause examining theological currents or trends in music or movies, why not video games?
So head over and check out his first few posts and his most recent one: a discussion about violence in video games. And spread the word about it; I think it's a fantastic idea!

A friend of mine is a serious gamer and claims every videogame is just a variation of Pong.
