I got freaked out the other day when I was looking over one of those "how to handle an emergency" posters that I'm required to put up in the concessions area of my theatre. Here's the picture:
The 911 dispatcher is my high school choir teacher! That woman terrified me for three years. I'm only just now getting over it, and WHAM!, there she is again. Seriously, she even has glasses like that. Tell me you don't see the resemblance:
Huh? Huh? Maybe it's just one of those 'Nam-style flashbacks or something, but she's all I could think of. Anyone ever freak you out like that? You start seeing them in weird places that you know they couldn't be? I need a drink.

6 Cachinnations
After I broke things off with my first love, I was constantly seeing his look-alikes everywhere I walked in NYC. Even though I knew he lived halfway around the world, it would stop me in my tracks each time I saw someone who resembled him.

Maybe its just a little fuzzy, but doesn't that gal on the poster have a moustache?

Um... you are so not allowed to post horrific images on your blog... I am going to flag this post as indecent... how dare you! Shudder...

Um...I'm sorry, I think if ANYONE has room to say that this woman was a terror, it would be me.
While she may have "terrified you", it was solely because of her overwhelming adoration for you. John, am I wrong?
I believe Evan & I tended to get most of her wrath...most of which was your fault, if memory serves. Do I need to remind you of the time we got locked in the costume closet?!? That said, it was I who endured over 4 years of abuse, does the car ride to Honors Choir Auditions ring a bell?
Oh the horror! On this otherwise already traumatic Monday, this image could have pushed me over the edge. Consideration for those of us who have been with you for 15+ years should have been given before you posted this blog, and if not, I agree - there really should have been a warning...

My old job allowed me to know more 911 dispatchers than perhaps any other blogger. It was one of the worst and saddest parts of my job.
