I know, I know... I've been gone. I don't know what to say. I've been busy at work and Beeki has forbidden me from telling any of the funny stories that have happened over the past week. Sorry. More will come soon.

I turn 30 later this week, Cachinnatees. 30. I always wondered what my life would be like when I was 30. I must say, it's nothing like I imagined. Not a bad thing, there's just no way to know what life brings. But I'll muse later.

For now I have to answer the tough question: What do I want for my birthday? The truth of the matter is that I don't need anything. I'm a simple man. I've got everything I need and really most of what I honestly want. But on your birthday people give you stuff for free. So I'd be pretty dumb not to ask for stuff. So far the things that I plan to ask for aren't exactly an indictment of my youth: my own bowling ball and shoes, a pressure washer, and surround sound speakers.

So here's where I need your help: after the last poll revealed that I'd probably be relatively safe doing the dishes more often, I must ask you to vote for the one thing that I should really focus my attention on to ask for on my birthday. Remember, we're going for things that will enhance my youth and vitality. Thanks for the input.

    30 isn't bad. Most people live past 60, so you're likely not halfway to dead, yet.

    40 is another matter for males.
