Beeki's Family

For Mother's Day this year, we went down to Planet Houston to visit Beeki's family. On the Saturday before Mother's Day, we went to Beeki's dad's company picnic. There, Beeki's brother, Fleeter, and I decided to give the company interns an interesting day on Monday when they returned.

You see... they left disposable cameras on all the picnic tables like some people do at weddings. We figured it would be some poor interns job to get them developed and that we should do our best to make the people who weren't there wish they had gone. The following pictures ensued:

We're angels... whose relationship is left intentionally ambiguous throughout the photos...

The happy couple.

The petting zoo was delicious fun.

Here I am explaining the merits of goats.

Then Fleeter pointed out the merits of children. (This photo is also widely known in the family as "The reason Cach and Fleeter aren't allowed to have children yet.")

This was a fake horse that you sat on and tried to rope a fake calf that was shot off a spring. It wasn't as easy as it looked. I eventually got the little sucker and during the event the following recent conversation with my wife followed:

Beeki: Rope it like you roped me into marrying you!

Cach: ... I'm going to need some alcohol...

So all in all it was a really great time. I hope Fleeters and my antics don't get my father-in-law fired.
