More Adventures of Fat Jesus in New Orleans

While eating turtle and rabbit in a famous New Orleans restaurant, I got a unique treat. A jazz trio wandered in from the street and played for us. They went into the kitchen and played for the cooks too. Here's a video of them going into the kitchen. If you look carefully and listen you'll notice the cooks playing percussion along with them with dish covers. It's sweet:



Love it. Hope the trumpet player didn't spit in any of the food inadvertently... but still loved it.

    That's kinda what I thought. Then I reminded myself that it was New Orleans, and somehow that made it seem okay. I don't think it should have, but it did.
