Allergic

Posted by Anonymous On 12:28 AM

I'm having allergy problems, Cachinnatees. This is troublesome to me because, well, I don't have allergy problems.

My allergies and I have an understanding, see? The understanding is this: my allergies don't give me problems and I don't think about them. Not too bloody complicated, is it? And yet here we are.

So after deciding that the proper punishment for Bert's transgressions was to make her smoke the whole pack, I need your help figuring out what I'm allergic to. Please vote in the poll on the right and offer any additional comments on my little problem here. Also, got any good remedies?

Thank you.

  1. Tracy Said,

You might be allergic to Waco. My allergies were never so bad as when I was in college. I'm convinced Waco is the allergy capital of the world!

As per your last post, maybe you're allergic to growing up.

You have money. Get an air purifier.

Yeah, and I'm with starshine. Waco is where allergies have their annual convention. Or didn't you know?

  4. Karen S Said,

Yup, allergy capital of the world. I only started getting allergies a few years ago myself.

I've heard tell that honey made from local pollen is supposed to reduce outdoor allergies, but I haven't actually taken the time to find honey made from local pollen, so I don't know how well it actually works.

  5. Anonymous Said,

I've been eating a bit of local honey on my cereal the past few days for that reason, Karen. I don't know whether or not it has helped, because I started taking it at the first sign of symptoms. So maybe it lessened them? I don't know.

    Either way, I like honey.

  6. Seth Ward Said,

I hate to tell you this... but sometimes it takes 1-5 years for allergies to kick in year if you've moved somewhere. It took a year and a half for them to kick-in in Waco.

Houston was about 6 months. (The worst allergies of my life)
