Gummi Bears part 2

Pursuant to my recent post about The Gummi Bears, Beeki has taken to singing her version of it to Ernie. It goes like this:

"Ernie Bear,
... here and there and everywhere,
Somethin' somethin' in the air,
She is the Ernie Bear."

She's not totally sure on those lyrics, but Ernie seems to enjoy it anyway. I think that's because she just likes hearing her name. Come to think of it, that usually makes me happy too.

Ernie and I have a lot in common...

    My wife also has a song she sings to our "sometimes pet," Nelson the Cat. It's to the tune of "He's a Rebel" by The Crystals, and it goes a little something like this:

    "He's a kitty and he'll never ever be any good,
    He's a kitty and he never ever does what he should,
    And just because he always meows and needs to be pam-pered,
    That's no reason why we shouldn't make him clean up turds!

    Nelson thoroughly enjoys it.

    i haven't met your wife, but i believe she is awesome cool.
    i do the same thing with Avi. the song Mr. Lee (early 60s, Stand By Me soundtrack) is now Miss a-Wee (because Avi's nickname is Wee). wow, my story just got too long and boring for a comment ...
