Yesterday, Beeki and I were standing in the kitchen talking. Then she looks down at my shirt and says, "Oh, Cach, your shirt is stained." To which I indignantly replied, "It's just a little of my dinner. It'll come out." I then began to rub at a spot. "No," she replied, "Not that spot. The one below it."
So a quick phone call to my mother later, and I'm scheduled to go clothes shopping with mom tomorrow. This happens once every two years or so. Not because I have such a strong desire to stay in fashion, but because that's about how long it takes for the women in my life to become thoroughly embarrassed by my appearance.
So what should I buy? Got any suggestions? What's hot? Send links if you have any specific recommendations. I'll be dapper again soon!

I don't think I'm the best person to give advice on clothing selection, but here we go.
The best tip I can give is what I learned from Dilbert years ago, as he asked Dogbert’s opinion as to which tie went best with the marinara stain on his shirt. The answer is not to discard perfectly good clothes, but to accessorize the stains.

But wait, there's more...
I have no advice either, because I have absolutely no taste in clothes, and no sense of what's attractive or in style. But I was struck by two different things as I read this one, Cach.
One, does Beeki actually call you "Cach", or do you simply tend to avoid using your real name when you assume your online persona?
And second, um, I don't know how to say this and not come across as a complete ass. Because it's very sweet and all... but... aren't you a little old to have your mommy taking you clothes shopping? Is she going to make you buy Toughskins?

Suggestions? Men have it so EASY with clothes! You can get wrinkle free, sweat absorbing, stain repellent clothing made according to your own measurements that won't go out of style in the next 5 years AND your shoes will always match...all for very reasonable prices. What's so difficult? Why can't they make women's clothes like that?????

Hey! Be cool! I went shopping with Mom out of poverty! I'm not impared or anything, I just can't afford to go shopping for myself. Hence, the spotted, stained, holey, worn, faded, ill-fitting clothing! I just wanted to know if you had any trendy suggestions! Sheesh!
