Return to the Big Apple

Posted by Anonymous On 11:18 AM

I'm headed back to New York City, Cachinnatees. No, I'm not heading back for a triumphant return to Broadway. (Point of fact, much like the common misconception that I inspired the movie Gladiator, I was not actually a "Broadway star." Off Broadway, yes, on it... no, I didn't stick around long enough for that.) Instead, I'm back to attend a theatre conference.

Now, if there's one thing you can count on at a theatre conference, it's that there will be a plethora of freaks there. (Would you say I have a plethora of freaks? Oh, yes, El Guapo, I would say you have a plethora...) I promise to take pictures and videos of those freaks and then post them here for our mutual amusement.

I'm not sure what else the weekend will bring, but hopefully it will be fun. I'll get to see some old friends, some familiar places, and hopefully a show or two.

I've been booked into one of New York's smallest hotel rooms and I'll be there for work, but don't think for a second that I won't manage to have a good time! Leave a comment if you want me to bring you back anything. Chances are I'll ignore you, but you never know! See you when I return next week!

  8. Anonymous Said,

It's a combination of execs and real theatre people. Rest assured, each category is as big of a collection of freaks as the other. Only the costumes are different.
