Poll Results 6/25/06

Well... in a four-choice poll, it was a two-horse race. In the end it seems we're more excited about Pirates than Superman. But both received a good number of votes. Personally, I'm excited about both.

In other movie news, Beeki and I had date night last weekend. We went to see the only thing I had any interest in seeing: Nacho Libre. Predictable? Yes. Chock full of third-grade humor? Yep. Delightful? Abso-frickin'-lutely. It's directed by Jared Hess, the same guy who did Napoleon Dynamite. It's got the same unlikely ugly hero, quirky Hispanic sidekick, and unlikely love interest story. Jack Black is hilarious. And the story is actually inspiring: "A talentless monk who serves in an orphanage as the cook is tired of not having good ingredients to serve them. So he becomes a Lucha Libre wrestler to make money to buy them fresh food. And along the way he hopes to win the love of the hot new nun at the orphanage: Sister Encarnacion. But he gets a bit caught up with himself before it's all over." What's not to like!? Beeki and I had a blast. I laughed through the whole thing. I love a good story. I especially like one told in a quirky way. Ignore the critics on this one. Anyway... go see it.

Can do, Kat. As a rule of thumb, whenever I post a poll result, I change the poll. But I'll start mentioning that from now on.

And for the record... the sidebar is fun!
