Though it may not seem like the most vital or even mildly entertaining subject, I find that tuna fish is one of those very personal things. Everybody likes it a little bit different. (I will admit up front that I probably should have included tuna salad as an option, but I didn't. So we live in the world that is, not the tuna salad-ed world we wish we had...) I can't help but wonder what our preference in tuna says about us. If we like it with sweet relish, as most of you did, are we confused people who can't make up our minds what exactly we want? If we like it straight from the can, are we boring and cavemannish? If we like it red apples cut up, are we brilliant, sensitive, good-looking, and useful in emergencies? What do our tuna preferences say about us?

I voted other. I like mine with grapes cut up. Try it, it's delicious.

I voted other as well.
I like mine with cut up pickles...so I guess you could call that relish...but not sweet relish. I make my Chicken Salad with grapes cut up and toasted almonds...Yummy!

Interesting... I shall try these new ways of doing tuna. Tuna is good.

Granny Smith apples are even better than the red variety. Nice tartness!

Hey, I resemble that remark.
Yes, I often eat mine straight from the can, but it's mostly because I'm lazy and not a very good cook or food preparer. I'm craving a nice dose of protein after working out or something, and there's a can of tuna. If I simply open it and dig in with a fork, my healthy meal is served in a matter of moments.
If I have to wait and get out a big bowl, pour in the tuna and other ingredients, mix it up, get out bread, assemble a sandwich, and so forth, well... I just don't even have time to think about all that.
I do like it when my wife does something nice with tuna. She'll mix in mayo, celery, green onions, and some other mystery ingredients that are quite good.

Well I think it's a given that tuna is always better when prepared by wife or mom. Isn't that like a law of nature or something?

Yes, that's true.
It's rumored that the secret ingredient is something they call "TLC", but I'm not so sure about that.
I think it's some sort of narcotic drug that simply stupefies us temporarily.
