I gave away some of mine today. It didn't take long. It didn't hurt. I saved three lives.
If you think needles are scary, think about how much scarier it would be to need blood and not have any available.
Blood will be there when you need it because other people give. You should too.

2 Cachinnations
no, thanks. one time, i gave blood and it ripped my artery or whatever and blood sprayed all over the van. then tons of mosquitoes swarmed the van and none of us could get out. my life-juice kept spurting all over the place and this pasty guy puked. i have no idea why he was there; he didn't look like he had any blood to spare. Then two of the nurses fainted, one of them falling on the brake releasing it. the van rolled off the cliff and we all died. roll credits.

Alas, they won't take mine anymore. I've apparently got bad blood. You'll just have to give for the rest of us who "aren't good enough."
