Burt's Bees

Posted by Anonymous On 9:26 PM

The most recent poll was neither an advertisment nor idle curiosity. It was a bit of blogaganda. (Add it, Fancy.) Why ask what the best lip balm is? It's a rhetorical device, (Much like the question immediately preceeding that statement...), used to point out that there is but one best lip balm: Burt's Bees. I can't even begin to tell you how wonderful this stuff is. I've been using it for a few years now, and I'm really picky about my lip balm. I don't like the melty goo stuff that runs if it get even one degree above room temperature. I also don't like the crayons that you have to mash into your lips. Burt's Bees is soft, it feels good, it tastes good, and it's 95.29% all-natural! Burt's Bees is a very environmentally and socially responsible company founded and run by an old hippie. (See photo.) In fact, they have many wonderful products that are all 100% natural or very close to it. So if you're looking for a lip balm as the weather gets nicer and the sun stays out longer, The Cachinnator reccomends Burt.
(And I'm not even getting paid for this post! I totally should be. I think I have a good track record as a blog whore.)

You are mistaken. Carmex is where it's at, dude. But maybe it's a Midwestern thing. Or thang.

  5. Anonymous Said,

We also like to use Burt's Bees diaper rash cream on our daughter's behind. I'm not sure if she likes it, however, since she does not yet communicate in English.

As for the lip balm, I prefer plain ol'petroleum jelly.

  6. Fork Said,

Hey! I love natural stuff...so I'd probably love Burt's Bees!

I do have some questions thought...

Does it come in all-natural peanut butter?

    Can you eat Burt's Bees?

Do Burt's Bees also make peanut butter?

  7. FancyPants Said,

Well, I don't care for bees of any kind, much less bees that belong to a hippee named Burt.

You're missing out, Fancy. Your dry chapped lips will be plenty mad at you for not giving Burt a shot!

Either of the ones in the picture I set with the post is great. I prefer the one in the little tin though.

  10. FancyPants Said,

OK, you guys. Burt's Bees and organic PB are on my list for the next grocery run.

And Kat, it's OK! The best words for the Blogtionary come when you least expect them. You'll just suddenly find yourself typing away, ferociously, as to not break the flow of your thoughts, and you'll read back, and see! It's there! Your word! In blogtopia you will be, you and your word. And you will soar, you will fly, to the utmost heights of blogosphere and beyond. You and your word......

Eh..hem..so yeah, good luck with that.
