I saw this sign in the window of a local gas station. The Safe Place is supposed to be some outreach started with the YMCA to protect kids who feel endangered on the street...
...Ummmm... am I the only one who would feel more endangered with some spooky guy coppin' a feel from behind me than from anything out on the street?

That cannot be a good marketing campaign... cannot be...

I like it. At least I know that somone will be hugging me when I come in from the streets.

Well, the only real problem is that it does look more like "coppin' a feel" than "giving a hug".
Maybe they just need to hire a better artist, who is better at depicting the intended message.
But then again... I guess trying to depict something like a hug, using only two colors and big featureless robots, is going to end up looking sort of... well, vulgar... no matter what.
It's like using South Park characters to depict subtle emotions.

Yeah, I don't know how you keep it from getting that "Michael Jackson" vibe.

I know this is rather dumb but I have always have this fleeting thought when passing a handicap parking sign.
"only people with wheels coming out of their butts are allowed to park here"
